Survey on religion's positive/negative impact

    That's a shocking report. Do you think Ipsos is a good source for surveys? I read a lot of conflicting reports about them.

    Still if it is at all accurate it would be shocking.

    Your chart inspired me to look up other thoughts on the good and bad of religions..I came up with a good chart explaining a lot about different religions..I posted it on a new thread. Still looking for another graph to compare it to yours though..

    The problem with surveys such as these is the way the question is posed, it leaves a lot for the respondents to interpret for themselves.

    I would not respond to such asurvey, as I believe that religion does have many positive effects, but also many negative ones.

    Do the P's outweigh the N's ? depends which religion you are talking about. And it depends on the individual adherent of the religion.

    In my humble opinion, such surveys are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
