I've heard a few JWs act crazy when I'd say "damn", even "crap" or "ass".
Any stories similar to that?

The words that are really damning are those that are blasphemous. Swear words would be considered unchristian and not showing the fruits of the spirit, as well as being worldly.
Blasphemous words would include things like 'oh my God'.
