Hello:
I'm thoroughly surprised no one has posted any information here for
us all to contribute to. Being a single parent has been one of the
most rewarding aspects of my life. Even though, my oldest, baptized
son has not been in a kingdom hall in over 8 years. He lives in
another state but writes me constantly, sends pictures and we are
able to talk about Jehovah, now, that I have gotten over my inital
bad feeling about him not having finished high school and having left
home years ago. Time does have a way of healing all wounds and once
a person knows about Jehovah, whether they choose to serve him or not,
they never forget about Him. I had three children, and was unmarried
when I came into the truth. I will never forget the kindness and
unending amount of friendship that the friends showed me in helping me
with transportation, spiritual guidance and encouragement. Me raising
my three children, when they were quite young was some of the happiest
times that I have spent in my life.
I now have a 17 and 18 year old, son and daughter respectively that
although, not baptized, sometimes tell me things that make me feel
so wonderful about raising them to know about God.
Sincerely,
Patricia
