Anyone remerber in the early 70,s Fidel Castro expell all the
undersirables to the US, the mental ill, murderous, rapist and JW,s.
I heard of some brothers from Cuba where place in the detention
center(US) and brothers here in the states arrange for their release and
place them in cong. and jobs. Can anyone recall, did Casstro close all
the KH in Cuba at that time, and how is the work in Cuba today?

That was in the late 70's, in the Mariel boatlift. There are plenty of JWs still in Cuba, maybe as many as 90,000.
The Witnesses meet clandestinely. My former PO worked in Bethel there before it got shut down in the 1960s.
There are many stories of imprisonment and torture among the exiled JWs.

I know this because I wrote grants to the federal government for the state I lived in to cover the expenses of those who settled in this state or were incarcerated.

In the early 70's there was an extended Cuban family in our hall in Portland OR. They had recently been "exiled", or "escaped" or something like that, but I was a little kid so Im not sure what the real story was.
I remember the cuban sisters always had cleavage, and not just a peek, we are talkin deep cleavage. I was pretty mesmerized as I had never seen anything like it.
