What suggestions can you offer as to how to find a girl I knew as a child. She would now be 40 or so. I know she married at least twice and do not know any name other than her maiden name. She was in Wisconsin about 20 years ago but can't say since. The basic google wasn't helpful. I'm sure there are ways, but what would you suggest is a good place to start?

Facebook comes to mind, but I'm guessing you already tried it. High school reunions, too, but I don't know how to find out about those myself.

Even if you can't find her at this time by using Google, keep trying. It worked for me and my husband. We lost touch 23 years ago. We finally found each other a year ago. Keep trying.

If she has brothers, try searching for them in and around Wisconsin (Facebook, whitepages.com, spokeo.com, classmates.com, google, etc)
Ask other classmates if they know anyone who may have kept contact.
Maybe contact your school and see if she contacted anyone there for future reunions??

I also find the US Public Records directories in ancestry.com useful.
Do you have info like DOB, or former street address, or name of relatives, or stuff like that?
I too have been searching for my "boy next door" when I was little (age 4 to 6) and I don't have much to go on, just a street address in the 1970s and his first name. No luck so far.

Well I did some digging and it seems she has married 4 times and is currently divorced and living not far away but has no phone listing. I feel kinda weird even digging this far but I was currious how life had treated her. Apparently not so good. Thanks for the suggestions
