I've occasionally followed the dealings of this JW splinter group headed by former JW Gordon Ritchie - he was interviewed in the Times a couple of years ago - http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/the_way_we_live/article4014800.ece
His interpretation of Bible prophecy is like Fred Franz on speed and his list of prophetic events is like Pastor Russel in his glory years (albeit without the Pyramid measurements). He predicted that the world had ended on March 21st 2008 but when it (apparently) didn't happen , he "realised" that it had happened "invisibly". (Hmm - wonder where he got that idea from?)
They have a meeting every Tuesday night in the main boardroom at the Churchill Hotel in London which I dare say is a lot more civilised that the neighbouring Kingdom Halls. Free tea , coffee and cucumber sandwiches - now the elders would never allow that in my congregation. All are welcome.
Anyway - don't say you weren't warned. Beware!
