I have read several posts where there is mention of the television program Dateline. I gather this has to do with the issue of sexual predators? I would be interested in seeing this, could some one tell me when it is to be broadcasted? Thank you

1-26-02- Dateline is filming an additional segment this week to complete something they have already filmed. The Program will then be edited and hopefully shown to key people by the end of the week. Wt has yet to agree to an interview and it looks like they are afraid to comment. One dateline person stated they would love to see it air in Feb but nothing is for sure and it appears it will come closer to March. Also advance advertising is expected for this program as it is considered a quality segment worth the additional effort.
01-20-02-I talked with the producer Friday and he stated to me, “I want to get this finished!” Next week the program will be screened by the brass and final cuts will be made if requested, when that happens the program will go into the lineup for showing. We are getting close as mentioned earlier, it depends on how the winter Olympics scheduling comes to bear as to the showing. This program will air and it is getting very close to showing.
01-14-02-The editing of the datline program continues. After the first edits the attorneys have to review and then make the final cut. If I could guess according to the information at hand, I believe the first edits will finish this week. The schedule will be close for an airing at the end of January as the winter Olympics are going to be covered by NBC and two weeks of dateline will be preempted two weeks in February. If I were to make a guess as to airing the very end of January or perhaps closer to the first of March if we do not beat the Olympics.
1-7-02- It looks like according to the way things are going that the show will likely air at the end of January or the first part of February. All filming has been completed and the final edits are taking place as we speak. The piece then goes into the pipeline and should air shortly. Stay tuned for updates each week. silentlambs
