My wife recently brought home another "Bible Stories" book for our child to read.
I noticed though it was if someone was trying to hide it... other books would be piled on top of it.
Then my child admitted to being the one who was hiding it.
I had pointed out the violent bloody pictures in it a while back and it had made an impression.
The kid didn't like them and no longer wanted to hear the book read!
before I woke up. The new children's book with its scary armageddon pictures in the back bothered me. I didn't think it was appropriate to market something like this to kids.
