In twin studies a high level of belief has been shown to be as genetically linked as homosexuality.
If identical twins are seperated at birth if one is gay, the other is about (I think) 50% likely to be gay, compared to a 22% chance for non-identical twins and a 11% chance for ordinary siblings.
Likewise, even if identical twins are seperated at birth, if one is very religious then the other is far more likely to be very religious than two random memebers of the population, no matter what their seperate upbringings were like.
This makes the dislike some very religious people have towards homosexuals quite amusing, as they are probably strong belivers due to similar mechansims.
People living in glass paradigms shouldn't throw stones...

Genetic predisposition doesn't automatically condemn a person to a particular disease. Environment and lifestyle factors can make one more vulnerable. Don't listen to crazy relatives or feast the mind on religious drivel masquarading as Bible aides. At the first sign of WT symptoms, get life time inoculation @ Freeminds Inc. et al to avoid full scale onset. The untreated disease can last for fourty years or more before symptoms abate. Death can be a blessed release. As is always advised with genetic disease - choose your parents carefully.
