There was recently a thread on the possibility of there being some "new light" forthcoming on the blood issue.
Is this a confirmed rumor, or is it just wishful thinking? Can anyone verify this?
Thanks

Even money says that it'll appear like a loosening of restrictions at first glance, but will, upon closer inspection, be a tightening.
The WTS may have an army of pro bono lawyers, but even they couldn't stem a nation-wide tide of class-action wrongful death lawsuits that would engulf them if they made any kind of official reversal of their position.
Vidioit I agree,
I wonder though if perhaps they are liquidating assets to get enough cash for the anticipated legal fights?
They have painted themselves into a corner and need someway of getting out.

Hmm, hadn't thought of that; the idea has merit.
Some of us have an alternate theory on where said liquidated assets may be going:

The "new light" on blood is a "here's how to let your children die" document that is being handed out at the elders' KM school. It has been discussed here plenty. They wouldn't release that document along with the harsh rhetoric that accompanied it only to reform the stance/ruling before all the KM schools are even completed.
