It really is all about that. Here sits this so-called "God of love" up in the heavens. He cares so much about you that he needs you to exhaust yourself attending his business meetings in your uncomfortable clothes. He needs you to donate your money for his magazines, then take said magazines out door to door. He needs you to put your spouse, children, and friends behind HIS interests, which are measured on time slips each month and forwarded to his operational base in Brooklyn. He needs you to shun those in your family who decide that God doesn't require you to be on a hamster wheel for all of your days.
He needs you to put your own interests last, whether they be hobbies, education, recreation, your career or anything else you might like. He has a wager going with Satan, and while 999 out of 1000 humans living today are proving Satan to be the winner of the bet, Jehovahs isn't going to give up on this one til the bitter end.
