The first comment in reply to the article is from a Borg Drone. I think responses of support for the film are in order.
Sweet!!
Thanks.
Still trying to get used to the posting methods on this board.
I posted the following:
A complete and at times heart breaking survey of the JW's position on Blood transfusions can be found here:

I think the Awake magazine from May 1994 with the glorification of children that died because their parents refused to allow them to have blood transfusions, pretty much stands on its own.
Shocking and heart breaking considering Christ's words in regards to God's will:
"I require compassion, not sacrifice".
Sweet.

Any individual contemplating joining the Jehovah's Witnesses religion is forewarned to research this issue carefully, study the history and biblical context of the blood prohibition and understand what it means to not 'eat blood' because the Jehovahs Witnesses beliefs with respect to this gruesome act is not approved by the Almighty, finds no reliable support in scripture and comes close to being a homicide or a suicide. Avoid the anguish for everyone involved and think clearly on this matter. The Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs on blood transfusions are not to be taken lightly.
jwfacts.com and ajwrb.org and marvinshilmer.blogspot.com are good beginnings.
I guess I posted a mirror post to this one without even knowing that someone else already did. I commented twice on the article so far. Can't believe I used to be programmed like the robots on there at one time.
I agree, AWESOME! Thanks for sharing. I wonder how far this will go? He has high hopes of it going to the Sundance or Cannes Film Festivals, but a journey of a thousand miles always starts with the first step, so all things are possible!
Any support that anyone here can offer would really help him reach those goals, whether it be passing it on to friends in other media, advice on how to get it to the right people to get it to Sundance. I really hope he makes it, as a friend of his from childhood, he shared the script with me and I was thoroughly impressed!
