I'm guessing this was more than the scripture of the day? I have lots of friends that I guess feel we all need ot be saved and thier godly posts will do the job. But they are my friends so I put up with it. I don't read it, though.

I have a FB account that is strictly ex-JW. When people ask to "friend" me and we have friends in common, I tend to just assume they're also ex-JWs and accept.
So this person who I recently accepted a friend request from pops up the chat window and starts asking me about being saved.
It was REALLY awkward. I was polite and tried to give the person a decent hearing but ended up cutting it short. They asked a lot of questions, didn't give a lot of info about self, and left the conversation almost like expecting a "return visit" some time soon. About the only thing I got out of the person was that they aren't and never were a JW but that they were either an RV or BS at one time. I think they're on a mission to convert ex-JWs to their version of Christianity. Ugh.
I hate unfriending people but if there's any more preaching, I may have to.

I had the same thing happen to me and he would not go away.
I was polite and firm and told him I not interested then I told him I was busy then I told him to go away and leave me alone and eventually I realised the only way to get rid of him was to "unfriend" him. Next thing, he is messaging me asking why am I so angry at God!!! WTF
I had already told him I didn't believe in God!!!

Why not read the scripture of the day? You don't need a watchtower to tell you what it means, do you?

Nope just think I had enogh religon shoved down my throat the first 25 years of my life to take care of the rest.
