They are an honest bunch all right.
I lived in a smaller city in Wisconsin. There was yet a smaller city right to the south and there was a restaurant that was owned by the uncle of a witness. This restaurant was robbed one day by a non JW guy and his JW girlfriend. She went to prison for it. A few years later this restaurant opened a new place in the city where I lived and the nephew (MS) was the manager. During the Thursday night meeting a JW sister walked into this restaurant with a gun while her new non JW husband waited in the car and attempted to rob the place. A DF'd brother sitting there tackled her and took the gun away. She went to jail but put all the blame on her husband who went to prison and she is on probation. (The MS JW got called at the KH by the police that there had been an attempted robbery. Was he surprised to find it was a young sister from his own congregation!)
Our neighbor JW was the biggest crook around. He just never got caught.
There was the couple of JW burglars. They went to prison. The one was DF'd but the other's father-in-law was the PO so nothing was done to him.
Another brother driving without a license tried to out run the cops and rolled the car, killing his wife who was 8 months pregnant with their first child. The baby died too. The wife was an only child. He went to prison. Her parents were out in service the day after the accident to show they were relying on Jehovah.
My good friend who "studied" the same time I did and later decided she was annointed is now divorced from her husband who became a JW and ended up in prison for child molesting. He was molesting young girls from the KH.
The young brother who stole a sister's welfare check out of her purse and cashed it with his mother's help. He was around 13 so not much was done to him at the time. They moved away but he later ended up in prison. Before he got caught the young brothers were complaining that when ever he was around things disappeared. When I said he had sticky fingers his mother was furious that I would say such a thing about her little boy.
    Yep, JW crooks abound.

I know a JW who ended up screwing his own JW brother's wife. Gun shots were fired eventually, but no body got hurt. This JW wife-stealer eventually married his brother's wife. Their father is an elder in the cong. I went to. Lot's of freaky double-lifing going on with this family. All are still active JW's.

My ex-roommate (actually my 2nd cousin-but I hesitate to claim her as a family member) gets fired from almost every job she gets for stealing. She has a long criminal record for stealing $$$ on the job (5 grand from one job). I mean, an actual criminal record, a.k.a., time in the slammer. She has stolen from almost every family member living in the area. She is a true predator, devious and cunning.

Most recently, she stole a book of checks from her co-worker, walked into a bank with MY i.d., and cashed a check using it AND my signature. The only reason it came out into the open is because the theft victim reported the stolen checks to the police immediately after they turned up missing.

As far as I know, the ex-roommate remains a baptized Witness in good standing.

I heard about this one Witness in our congregation who supposedly picked up abandoned car along the road and would sell them for scrap metal.

Back in my old congregation there was an Elder (who by the way ended up being the ONLY Elder due to Br. Cranna's cuts) who let my ex get away with beating me and attempting to murder me by strangulation because my ex had information on him. This Elder worked for a tool business back in NY that only hired JW's and in order for him to make money he had double books. So in this situation, two sets of corruption was covered over.
