Is religion about saving souls or about the almighty dollar???

    My oldest brother when he was young was ask by A adult,

    when you grow up what profession will you seek. He told

    them A preacher, why she ask. Because they do not work,

    true story.

    I remerber reading the history about the Roman Catholic Church.

    Correct me if Iam wrong, the Pope in the past were married.

    The reason it was changed because A pope died and he left

    real estate and other properties too his wife, real estate

    that belong too the Church. There was no new light or

    new understanding of the scriptures, the pope can not be

    married. Today, you ask yourself, is it A war to save souls or

    is it about that almighty dollar(oil).

    unfortunatly religion is a placiebo. since many people can not cope with the idea of a finite lifespan they need something else to believe. and it involves A LOT of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. win win huh?

    Religion can be a very personal thing, someone can have faith, and wish to save souls, but not belong to an organised religion.

    All the big organised religions are money first, people a long way down the list, after things like Public Image, political power etc etc

    That's it in a nutshell. Reality is just to hard to face for the average person. So instead they attach themselves to fantasies/delusions. Whatever gets you through the day the saying goes.

    The problem is when subscribing to these delusions, it usualy comes with a price. And in our case we know what that was/is, family, marriages, relationships, sanity ect. Very pricey indeed.

    They can keep their empty promises as far as I'm concerned.

    It is more than the All-puny toilet paper dollar. It is more about controlling others' lives. Dirtifying acts that bring pleasure is the major part of religion. The money is part of this--keeping the flock poorer prevents them from enjoying their lives, which is what religion is about.
