Cult Classic on a thread about funeral talks commented "I would always find myself thinking "how the hell do you know what ____ believed?"
I can relate to that feeling. I remember attending the Bonham, Texas Special Talk that was given at the new hall that had just been built (the old one was given to the congregation that had apostasized) and later there was a brief blurb in the Kindom Ministry that said "All in attendance were deeply touched at the stirring discourse delivered by brother Albert Schroeder of Brooklyn." I was there and I was not deeply touched at all. I was doing my best to stay awake.
Did (does) it bother you when the Society presumes to know how you feel regarding your beliefs?
