Absolutely right. After crying wolf for a century no one could be blamed for not believing their warning. It now has no merit. JC gave specific warnings to a specific generation. The GB uses this tactic as a tool to keep the rank & file in line. A recent WT claimed that the end could come AT ANY TIME !!!!! This, of course, ignores their own timeline of things to occur before the end.

I've thought this myself, not sure if i thought along to the same conlusion tho.
I reckon its a lot of crying wolf in order to desensitise, so that when the proverbial really does hit the fan
noone will give a monkeys.
and i'd say its working beautifully.
