I read your post after a comment you made on a recent thread and visited these sites. I have at times written to Media outlets and Govt officials when the subject has been appropriate . . . the internet is a quick and easy tool for this purpose.
There is a Member of Parliament here who got involved in a custody battle (10 yrs ago) where cult members (Grandparents) had retained a couples children, refusing access and drawing the case out . . . he remains informed and educated on the subject . . . and is still in Govt. . . . a potentially powerful ally. I have written to him recently.
I have no family remaining in the cult, so nothing is "at risk" for me any longer.
These sites make some excellent points I can use in future . . . thanks for the post.
And yes . . . the reasons cited as to why more don't get involved in prevention are valid . . . it's not that hard or demanding really.

Thank you rebel8,
The advice is admirable. I can see why some of my stuff has not been published. As you rightly point out, prevention is better than cure, and most of our efforts should be aimed at prevention.
If cults cannot recruit, they wither and die.

I have not been able to read the above information but agree that prevention is the key...
- Education=information available including but not limited: current, past, and future.
I believe..."The truth will set you free" but to be truly-free you have to have the freedom to explore all information.
- No one has the right to (control) withhold information that is used to make decisions---personal or that can affect others!!!
