Wow...in quite the funk. There are so many thoughts and memories that swirl in my head when I come on this site I wouldn't know where to start. My mother was inactive for a bit, we got along famously!!! I recently found out she is attending meetings again. Walked into her living room and saw the New World Translation of the...blah blah blah with a Watchtower folded neatly inside and thought I would lose my lunch. I've run into more than a few witnesses lately since I moved to this small town and it's creeping me out. But I digress...I feel a rant coming on so I should probably go. I feel that all of the fun my mother and I found is going to be sucked out by the org. :-(

I can understand your concern, and am pleased that you and your mum have been able to have fun together.
It is not always the case.

Have you got some special old photos, memories of " the good times"?
Why not make an evening together, sharing these memories, doing something together as well ( restaurant/cinema?).
Maybe your mum will realise what she might be asked to give up.
