Except when shunning people who believed differently
Carla, you must understand(ps) that when talking to people at the door, they attempt to convince them to believe differently. When they finally do that, becoming a JW, that's perfectly acceptable. From thenceforth, however, they are prohibited from believing differently as that is no longer perfectly acceptable.
There's something horribly wrong with this picture.

ps: I know YOU understand all this but lurkers may not understand this.

By Preaching: Jesus used his time, energy,
and resourcesJesus had no "resources" The Watchtower corporation has hundreds of millions, possibly billions on hand. Are they using their "resources" for anything other than printing more material in a world that is now rejecting "paper" in favor of the environmentally friendly internet.
make the light of truth
known to people in their homes, in public
squares, on the mountaintops-wherever
they could be found.Advice ignored by the GB, they use an outdated method (door to door sales) rather than employing modern technology to reach people wherever they could be found.
They let
their light shine by doing good to their
neighbours and by sharing spiritual truthsDoing good to their neighbors is GB defined. Their definition is solely WT approved preaching.
No food banks
No hospitals
No community outreach
No counseling or treating alcoholics/drug addicts
No providing clothes to the needy
No shelters for the homeless
No shellters for abused women
No NOTHING, other than the occasional help for JWs during absolute disasters. (Oh and make the check out to the Watchtower, don't earmark it for disaster relief.)
