How many times did the Watchtower highlight that we can not understand the Bible unless someone else would teach it to us. The prominent example of course was the Ethiopian Eunuch that Philip met on the road back to Ethiopia after a brief visit to Jerusalem. Not once did the Watchtower highlight the fact that the Ethiopian Eunuch was not under any restriction to stay in the one true center of worship – Jerusalem. Neither did he have to stay in the midst of the true disciples of Jesus/Yeshua . Philip baptized him without any such obligation. Acts 8: 26-40.

The Watchtower uses the example of Rahab as the reason that a person must leave his former religion and cling to the one and only organization of God. However it is not highlighted that Rahab and her family were the only survivors, therefore she did not have a nation of her own.

The warning from the prophet Jonah had the entire large city Nineveh to repent, have faith and obey the true God, thus they worshiped the God of Israel and never had to coalesce to the nation of Israel. The Ninevites were a distinct nation worshiping the true God at that time apart from the Israelites.
