  Coercion to Refuse Blood

  Today I uploaded a new article to my blog documenting instances of inappropriate coercion to have Jehovah’s Witness patients refuse blood.

  The article clippings from the early 1950s are a must read. They share the story of Bethelites who came home from Watchtower for the sole purpose of forcing their will against blood transfusion onto their unconscious sister. Your eyes will pop when you get near the end of this story.

  The later articles from reputable news sources and vetted medical journals further demonstrate that inappropriate coercion continues, though these days it is more sophisticated with Watchtower’s Hospital Liaison Committees and all.

  'Coercion To Refuse Blood' is a good way to put it. Another title that would be appropriate is 'Bullying To Refuse Blood'.

  Did Jesus ever use coercion or bully anyone? Nope. No record in the Bible of that type of behavior on his part.

  I find it interesting that 1, they are working so hard to keep peole from taking blood, why don't they work that hard to prevent child molesters, and adultery? and 2, if they are willing to sneak a blood transfusion what else are they willing to sneak?

  For example: Why not have a liaison committee that puts forth as much effort in looking out for the needs of victims of sexual molestation (child and adult)?
