I am curious to know what books, teaching, new light etc the watchtower is going to come out with this year.
Anyone know when the 2011 conventions begin?

Always have to love the good ol' interpretation of the statue in Daniel by the Watchtower Society. I especially love the leaving out of the Mongol Empire. Existing during the 13th and 14th century, it was the largest contiguous empire in the history of the world.
In connection with that, we have the Black Death/Plague. It killed off anywhere between 30-60% of Europe's population.
Between the Mongol Empire and what many will call the worst times of human history, the Watchtiwer needs to try hardder with its 'persuasion'. Imagine in the the country you live in today...1 out of every 3 or even 2 out of every 3 people die in your neighborhood/land, surely it would be "the end" at hand, right? It didn't happen during the 1300's.
The Watchtower really needs to learn how to work the Mongol Empire in and I would love to see an explantion how 1914 onward has been worse than the 13th/14th centuries for the human race.
So they're increasing the 'shows'...Instead of just one, they're up to three dramas...NICE. Maybe they also need to start a JW Music genre and sell to the masses to draw the people in. The Governing Body "unplugged" is sure to draw attention.

Pretty soon the whole thing will be a drama. With the lights turned down low, you won't be able to see all the devout JWs snoring away after lunch.
