Band on the Run
Let the fire stay in her belly which it belongs. As a lifelong Dem, though, I'd beg her on my knees to run. Dukakis or Kerry could take her, even Carter.
Michelle Bachman would be glorious, too.
I regret Donald Trump decided not to run. Oh, I saw the White House Correspondents Dinner on TV. Someday soon I vow to attend in the flesh. It is inconceivable that he was planning the final stages of Bin Laden's death. One cool customer. His stature really rose. Seth Meyers was the paid comedian. Obama was so much better. It wasn't only the writing but his delivery. All the while waiting for Bin Laden op to launch. I admire his coolness. It is nice to have someone more cerebral.

Fire in her belly and rocks in her head.

Politics reminds me of religion. It seems to be mostly about what the people will buy, so politicians (and religions) spend a lot of time planning how to advertise themselves effectively. None of it has much to do with truth or reality.

Terra Incognita
The American people are so morally and intellectually bankrupt that a sizeable percentage of them voted for McCain and Palin. The mere fact that McCain chose an unknown idiot for his running mate simply because he was desperate to win showed what kind of character (or lack thereof) he has.
Because I find this nation to be such an abomination that it's worthy of destruction, I really wish that McCain had won the election and then dropped dead one day after being sworn in. This nation of vampires and zombies would have gotten what they so richly deserve. Unfortunately, this imbecile won't be chosen by the GOP even if she decides to run.
In any case, she's making too much money to give a fine f**k about power. Wasn't she the one who quit the governorship of Alaska. Through such action she showed, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she would abandon this nation as soon as some moderate stress presents itself.
Run Sarah, run!

I see her teasing about running but not actually doing it.
If she makes a play and fails, her popularity will plumet and with that her earning potential.

That fire in her belly needs to move on up to her cerebrum.
