Ya'll need to cut Harold Camping some slack on his apparent failure at his May 21 prediction. To use a patent Watchtower alibi, "He never used the special words, "Jehovah said". Besides, Harold obviously had some New Light since and has altered his prediction by adding 5 months to the original.

Harold Camping "... said that instead of the biblical rapture in which believers were expected to ascend into heaven, a spiritual judgement day occurred on May 21 instead. He said that the rapture would transpire on October 21, at which time the world would be ..."

When asked why he chose the term spiritual instead of invisible, he replied, "Cuz Watchtower copyrighted Invisible many years ago."

Maybe he "evidently" meant that the "generation" that saw May 21 would also see Judgement Day with their eyes of spiritual discernment.

Camping said he was just a "humble teacher", he never made anyone quit their jobs and spend all the savings on May21st preaching or donations to Family Radio- nobody is getting a penny back- they donated it for the Lord's work- God will help them get it back, not him.
