REALLY need some feedback on some website designs!!!

  If you could please give me your honest feedback on the designs ONLY I would appreciate. I am in the process of launching a survival/awareness site (will include other things on the site - please don't knock me considering we all have JWism in common ) and have the following images where image 1 will fade into image 2.

  Here are the images on the left side that fade 1 fades into image 2 (with the quote "Is this the end of an era...":

  I pretty much am satisfied with the above (left column) however I'm not sure of which SECOND image I should fade to below for the right hand column - your feedback and why would be appreciated. Thanks again! The second column (below) will have the quote: "or dawn of a new day?"

  It depends entirely what you want to say, but I think the one with the family, 12114812 conveys looking forward into an unknown but hopeful future.

  Is it meant to be very JW in tone? I think it rather is, though not exclusively so.

  Awesome Designs. I agree with regards the first two being perfect. I like the idea for the second one being the bright light at the end of the tunnel, but instead of a family, perhaps one person (just my opinion, i understand why someone would use a family though). It just really reminds me of the pics from fallout 3.

  

  And for the fade-in, the 3rd image looks good.

  Thanks. The family one is the first image for the second column. I was wondering WHICH image the family image should fade into (one of the four images AFTER the family image - paradise, freedom, etc. - not sure which one would flow). Not meant to be JW in tone - but given the doom and gloom from the JW's I didn't want anyone here saying anything... Its basically for a survival store - nothing to do with JW's. Thanks again!

  So Dune you are saying no family pic, just a tunnel with light at the end, and then one person like the fallout pic? Thats an option too. I thought the family thing might be nice as it offers some hope. Thoughts? Thanks again for the input!!!

  I like the fallout pic - maybe tough finding something similar that is not copyrighted. Will keep looking. Thanks!

  yeah, i was just speaking for myself, but i'm sure that a survivalism themed site would resonate a little more with people who want to protect someone, so the idea of a family walking towards the light would probably resonate with more people.

  Well, hell. Dune got me thinking, lets be realistic in this type of situation... maybe a light at the end of a tunnel and then this (or should I stay with the "hope" theme?)
