  Before being sent to their cells, men and women were stripped naked and searched in front of several people. Some women were told to stretch out their arms, squat five times, and open their mouth and lift up their tongue. At least one woman was told to use her fingers to open her anus.

  This is not porn, right?

  Is this description needed in the publication which 5-year-old kids also read?
  Doesn't this stimulate their curiosity?

  It is a bit mature for the kids, you're right, possible-san. But it is a clinical description of what happened. Perhaps it would have been best to proceed the article with "WARNING: This article contains frank description of strip-searching. This may not be suitable for all ages."

  But it is a clinical description of what happened.

  Yeah, I see.

  But, I think that it is an unnecessary description, IMO.
  Especially, for the youths of JWs who avoid sexual stimulation.

  Sexual immorality above all threatens family life. If the family unit had anything to do with what's motivating the Russian government, why don't they outlaw pornography?

  They say an extreme thing like this.
  But, in such people's publications, why does such a lascivious description appear frequently?

  It is because their minds are always "porn, porn", isn't they?

  I agree possible . . .

  The point can be made without such a detailed description . . . and especially should the target audience be considered. It is a reflection to me not so much of lasciviousness, but of WT writers disregard for the effect they may have on others . . . particularly their own followers. If they have the motive of wanting to disgust or draw sympathy . . . they just cut loose with their own selfish objective as the sole motive with total disregard for what detriment they cause. Pure self interest on display.

  I read Part I and II, and you are right, Possible.

  Young children and teens shouldn't be exposed to such images.

  I remember a WT study on disfellowshipping offenses regarding loose conduct.

  The conductor made a point of highlighting how a young couple was disfellowshipped for mutual masturbation.

  He said the young girl used her toe to stimulate the young man - he was quite graphic in his description.

  It embarrassed me!

  Now, imagine what it did to visitors and young people.

  Crazy!
