I suggest acting quickly now while the dollar still has some residual purchasing power.

For nostalgia purposes, during the bulk of 2010, $20 bought a whole ounce of silver. It also bought a strand of LED Christmas lights containing 70 lights (premium quality lights, at that), 3 D batteries (the rechargeable ones at that, not the throwaway ones), a basic LED flashlight (I caught a sale where they were selling basic LED lights for $5 each after Christmas 2010), a decent set of Christmas ornaments (I went to Bronners and got something like 15 or 20 of them for $20), 20 legal music downloads off Napster, a basic shirt from L.L.Beans, 2 bottles (14 ounces) of organic coconut oil, or 5 lengths of basic tinsel garland from Target. While some of these prices may still sound familiar at this posting, many have already begun to go up. And I am sure that in a few months, once hyperinflation gets off the ground, we will be wishing for prices like these.

And oh yes, at this point you can still get 5 gallons of gas for $20 (it was closer to 8 gallons in 2010).
