lol, the dalai lama seems like such a nice guy. Can you imagine the pope going on TV, having a joke about him told to him, and being able to laugh even in the awkwardness of it? The dalai lama seems like a far more spiritual guy than other religious leaders. And I'm an atheist.

The dali lama just sat there and smiled because he couldn't understand what on earth he was saying. And the translator didn't translate it very well....I'm not sure I saw anything spiritual about him any more than joe blog sitting there and not understanding anything...and smiling....the dali lama is just a man in a red robe with poor eyesight.
I gotta admit...it was kinda funny I'm glad the reporter wasn't kissing ass like most of them do I'd invite him round for dinner any day.
