We used to play a similar game whilst travelling. Each car passenger would be allocated 10 pubs. So, passenger number 1 would be awarded the first 10 pubs driven past, and he would count the number of limbs suggested by the title.
For example, The Queens Arms would score 2, the Royal Oak 0, The Cricketers 44! (22 arms, 22 legs in a team)
After 10 pubs had been passed, the total was added up, and then it was passenger number 2's turn.
