For my own piece of mind I would like to talk with a family lawyer who has experience in dealing with custody cases involving JWs. If anyone is aware of anyone or can pass along links it would be greatly appreciated.

Please disregard my earlier post. I've decided that the best thing would be for me to come to some kind of agreement with my wife. Smile and eat **** if you will. Not all the time, just when there has been a particularly good meeting or study topic. Things aren't really that bad and the sanity and well-being of my child will always come first. Besides, I figure if I provide a balanced approach to life the kid has a better chance of making the break later on.
