Some have been talking about not having the latest version of the WT Library. (As of mid-2011) It is an actively traded torrent found here:

Here is all the WTs on PDF from 1879 to 1949:

If any need or want a detailed explanation of how to use bittorrents, just google it. Here's a simple crash course:

    • A torrent is basically a small text file containing a list of ip addresses of computers all over the net that are actively sharing or "seeding" a particular file.

    • You need a program that will read this list (torrent) and connect you to the right computer(s) so you can download the file from these.

    • First acquire a client program that allows you to download bittorrents. I like utorrent myself. Then install the program, and find some torrents!

The Pirate Bay is a great site, and is perhaps the best known torrent site. It has been under attack by "the man" for several years so who knows who long it will stay online but it is still alive and kicking as of now.

    • Pirate Bay and Kickass Torrents are two sites that are very safe and "reputable" among the peer sharing community. Go to one of these first.

Torrentz is a website that searches the torrent sites and will help you find the one you want by referring you to them. Be careful when you follow the link they provide when you do a search, as there can be some dangerous torrent sites that would love for your antivirus/malware protection to be off or outdated. :-)

    • Once you acquire the small torrent file, double-click on it and it will launch your client and begin downloading the actual file(s) the torrent is pointing to. Once it is done, you can leave the torrent active if you wish to share and help keep the torrent alive for others to download.

    • Torrents go active/inactive from time to time. It depends on how many people are actively "seeding" or uploading the file. Also, each person downloading is "leeching" so if there is 100 leeches and only 1 seed the download speed will be super slow. It may then take hurs or even days to get a large file.

Happy file searching! PM me if you have any questions or need help-

I'll probably give you my email at that point since the PM system on here is so l a m e.

You guys are both relatively new, take some friendly advice.

Please respect this site and protect its owner by NOT posting links to copyright materials. Now, I know a torrent isn't actually copyright but in practical terms its a distinction without much difference. Watchtower Legal would LOVE to jump on JWN.

I've no doubt the links posted will be removed shortly, don't whine about that.

None of these sites have the Watchtower BookShelf CD. Darn it!

@nicolau - Thanks for the advice. As you said, I didn't post a link to anything that is illegal. This has been covered all the way to the supreme court and simply posting a link to another link cannot be construed as engaging in "illegal activities" and they would have no legal leg to stand on if they tried.

I may not have thousands of JWN posts, but I am anything but a newbie on this topic. I have been teaching a class in "advanced pir-at-es" (rhymes with pilates, lol) for a long time.

It's also freely available on Usenet in A LOT of languages. Not only English, but I can also see French, Dutch, Polish, German, Hungarian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian and Spanish.

In fact, someone has uploaded a portion less than 24 hours ago.

AFAIK everything that was on the Bookshelf CD is now available online. Much of it, if not all, would be at archive.org

Everyone that wants to examine WT publications should be able to. Maybe some will learn the *TRUTH!

    *Blatant double meaning

Classic. LOL totally true. Download the publications, and read for yourself. Judge for yourself. There has been articles about people finding tracts in trash bins and becoming Witnesses, so why not this way?
