  I am going to assume that everything you say is true. Now let us summarize the situation.

  You are an 18 year old male who has kind of a general Christian orientation, although you are not a member of a particular church. Your 18 year old girl friend is a Jehovah's Witness. Her mother is disfellowshipped but still believes it. She is nice to you, but talks bad about you to her daughter behind your back. You have done research on the religion and found out that it has some problems. You have told your girl friend about these problems, but they had no effect on her. To her these problems don't matter.

  Now, in light of all this, why does it matter how the Governing Body live, a subject you brought up. Do you think this will make a difference to your girl friend?

  With the summary of what you have been through, why do want to be with your girl friend? I will stand by my first post to you. Find a new girl friend. You are wasting her time, your time, and our time. Your relationship ain't gonna work. Move on.

  Larc's right, Jerome. Count your losses and move on. It'll only get worse for you the longer you prolong this tepid romance. She's not going to change for you my friend, and I suggest not changing for her, unless you enjoy being unhappy.

  Best to find another love....You have to be carefull of falling for an exJW, due to the fact they may @ sometime go back ...If you are interested in a JW the only way it will work is if you become one and give your braine to the org. Now that will work just become a Jehovah zombi.
