Just got paid a visit by one of my family members. She stops by my house every time they work my territory to see how I am doing and to take a peek at the little guy. She's a hard core dub and she's been pioneering for many many years. She knows all that I do, but she still pokes in to say hi.

Underneath the cult personality is a real person. It is nice to see the real person now and then.
That is so very loving. This shows that there are very nice people that exists in this world today, jw and non-jw.

She's freely given herself to her God (she calls him Jehovah) and with her experience the Watchtower played an integral role in that process. She may not know what truly goes on behind the curtian, but I suspect she doesn't care to know.
I think to myself: she's had a lot of time to analyze the Watchtower and she still chooses it, even today, as her guide. Yet, she still cares about how my family and I are doing enough to stop by.
I have been very angry with my family in the past, but I think she knows that anger never lasts forever.

You are one fortunate guy to have a family member visit you after having knowledge of your stand.
May I make a suggestion, i.e. if you haven't done it yet?
Make sure you show your appreciation somehow... like sending her a card of good will. Or, just send her a note saying Hello!, and that you are thinking about her and her close ones. Or, whatever seems best since you know her well enough, without touching the WT doctrinal divide.

I think Wonderment's idea is a good one.
Most JWs are normal, loving people who are stuck inside a cult. I'm glad your relative is showing her normal loving side towards you and your family.
