Hmmm....
Interesting idea, but for those who are fading - and I suspect that many on-board members are doing just that - it could compromise their fade...
Besides, as Serenity Now said, they [Watchtower Society] might choose to 'get creative' with the numbers, anyway - or just stop publishing them, as they've apparently done with the Memorial partakers...

Yes the last month of the service year is August. It brings back memories of elders harping on more than they usually during that month about the need to get reports in.

My FS report for July might be zero due to my lack of interest which just ruins the congregations good record.

My wife and I hadn't/haven't turned in a timesheet in quite some time. Interestingly, our CO was pleased to report 100% participation in the ministry, though. JWs fudging the numbers and massaging the truth; go figure.

This is what usually goes on in August:
First, they hound people to get ready for the new circus year. This starts on September 1, and they want everyone to regular pio-sneer that month. That way, they can go the whole year as they are supposed to, getting 840 hours of wasted time before next August 31. Those who cannot regular pio-sneer despite their houndings (and, they think everyone can do it if they quit their jobs, get by on 4 hours of sleep per night, and give up everything else), are hounded to increase their field circus time and to come up with a goal for the new circus year.
Suggestion: Do not pio-sneer. This is a good time to come up with the goal of skipping boasting sessions as often as you can. Those inclined to do so can make a goal of disassociating. If you are in a position to waste the hounders' time and energy, do so and make that your goal.
As the month wears on, they want everyone to turn in a field circus time. They will be pushing for everyone to get their time in as soon as they know how much they are going to get, so they can compile a complete annual report.
Suggestion: If at all possible, skip field circus altogether. Skip a few boasting sessions, or more if possible. If you must go out in field circus, make sure you turn in your time as late as possible (and preferably after September 6, so it will not reach the Society in time). Do as little field circus as possible, and dog any calls you might get.
