  Watchtower — emergence of the business end

  Today I uploaded a new article to my blog addressing the emergence of Watchtower as a business. Though Watchtower had always been a business concern, something happened in the late 1920s that forced Watchtower to project its business beyond the front office and far into the rank-and-file. The circumstance was sufficiently dire that, as it turned out, Watchtower was pretty blunt about what it was doing and what it expected.

  Ahh man, Shack, a picture is worth a thousand words, or should I say a thousand lies in Rutherford's case. You can look at that picture and see he's corrupt, twisted, just a sick specimen of putridity. Guys like him are why I question not just the WT, but Christianity, and religion in general. I'd love to see him ressurected just so I could stick a rusty screwdriver in his neck.

  Good one George...rusty screwdriver to the neck. I was thinking along the lines of nailing him with one of his V-16 Cadillacs. Once incapacitated, get into his 2nd V-16 Cadillac and back over him a few times.

  Rutherford with his Cadillac at their San Diego prophet's mansion... while everyone else was struggling through tough economic times. Religion is good work if you can get it (and don't have a conscience).
