I think its interesting that he quoted some scripture FROM the NWT...really...how many non JW's or studies even have a copy of it? If he belonged to any other main stream religion...pushing GODS name certainly wouldn't be high on the priority list.

    I'm guessing he's a JW...or an enthusiastic study

I reckon he's a dubbie! I mean, even his photo is format... the mustache, neatly trimmed... sorry to all you non jw normal looking people with neat mustaches, i didn't intend to lump you in with these nasty people...

He even has his own book you can buy with all 'his' wisdoms...Trying in his own way to preach without sounding like a JW...fail!

How does the newspaper justify this twaddle in its pages?

For those who have never been to Ohio, that state quite religious. There are huge Amish and Mennonite communities there. Even the grocery stores have hitching posts so the Amish can tie their horses up. Try going to Kidron, Ohio on Auction day and you'll think you've gone back to the 1800's. The women of these religions MUST wear dresses and have a head covering, a lace cap, black bonnet, or a crocheted piece on the top of their upswept hair. Driving to Berlin or Mt. Hope one has to really be on the lookout for horses & buggies as you round the corners and come over hills. There are lots of other religions represented too.

I stopped reading the article asfter the second biblical quote. What amazes me about the divide and conquer story about the Babel tower,...God really was worried humans would get to advanced and better him...how odd.. jehovah used to live in a tent in the desert by any chance?? lol

Languages shows the uniqueness of the human. There must be as many religious varients of the christian denomination as there is languages in the western hemisphere alone....did god do something about splitting the church up too and didn't tell anyone about it??

The article states that there are 0 comments and over 1,000 recommendations. It sure sounds like a religio-mercial to me. BTW, I could never imagine a newspaper in New Zealand allowing such an overtly religiously sectarian article in it. What's with the states? I hear that some of them are more religiously inclined than others - but to such an extent that they allow religio-mercials masquerading as newsworthy articles?
