    Lies have flashed forth!

    For the freedom we’re winning

From a world that is ending

To a brand new beginning, baby!

    Come on!

    Lies have flashed forth!

Don’t be afraid to expose them!

Don’t you ever lose hope and

Don’t you ever be broken, baby!

    Come on!

    What's true today

    Won't be true tomorrow

    Reversing the gravity

    Keepin' you in sorrow

    Subtle shifts in sanity

    Madness, inhumanity

    An old trick borrowed

    From madness in humanity

    Pay no attention

There's a man behind the curtain

    His intentions

Are to plan your life for certain

    Turn your existence

    Into a Simplified Edition

    Turn your persistence

    Into a divine requisition

    Forms to fill out

    For ill-informed decisions

    Powers of attorney

As them cowards watch you burning

    They'll let you bleed out

And then praise your final journey

    What a sacrifice

    In behalf of the cause

While they snuff out your life

    Without an actual cause

    Any given Wednesday

    Your life is in jeopardy

    Any given friends, they

    Won't be there indefinitely

    I stand on the sidelines

    And contemplate my destiny

    And slowly I realize

This cult will be the death of me

    Lies have flashed forth!

    For the freedom we’re winning

From a world that is ending

To a brand new beginning, baby!

    Come on!

    Lies have flashed forth!

Don’t be afraid to expose them!

Don’t you ever lose hope and

Don’t you ever be broken, baby!

    Come on!

    What can you see

    If your eyes are half-open?

    Believe what you want to

On the basis of a hope and

    Leave when you want to!

    The door is always open!

    But there's a guillotine,

And hangmen, and a rope in

    Subtle hands

    Shaping their subtle plans

Implanting them in your brain cells

Like only the God Jehovah can

    Babylon’s chronology suddenly rewritten

    Twenty years are missing

    And suddenly insignificant

    Attack my motives

    I'm enemy of the state

    Ecclesiastical motors

    Driven by soulless hate

    And speaking of kings lists,

    I wonder where theirs is--

With a hundred forty-four thousand names

    It's hard to miss it

    Except for the fact

That the list was never written--

    Ooh! Pictures of tigers

We can play with like they're kittens!

    Let’s freeze our hands off

    Placing Awakes with our mittens!

    Just ignore that part

    And read the new revisions

    And ignore that part

    We made some new decisions

    Oh, and scratch that out

Sorry about the deaths and all

    You know Jehovah--

Always a dozen tests and all!

    Lies have flashed forth!

    For the freedom we’re winning

From a world that is ending

To a brand new beginning, baby!

    Come on!

    Lies have flashed forth!

Don’t be afraid to expose them!

Don’t you ever lose hope and

Don’t you ever be broken, baby!

    Come on!

    Family shunning me

    Coming out of character

    As facts and statistics

    Prove that they're in error

    Angry argumentation

    Proves that they're in terror

    And desperate augmentation

    Won't save your crew forever

    A soft wind

    Doesn't make true castles collapse

    And the end

Doesn't come, so here we are, relaxin'

    What a burden this is--

    10 more hours a week!

    Oh how I'm hurting--

    I can independently think!

    More gas in my tank

    From no return visits

    More cash in the bank

    From no C.O. visits

    Theocratic welfare--

Free room, board and health care

    While publishers are starvin'

And elders say who the hell cares?

    Disinformation

    To prevent more education

    Women wearin' headscarves

    A sign of discrimination

    While they exploit technicalities

    To escape incrimination

    They're feelin' nauseous

    At the growing conscious class

    But we make people conscious

Of the truth about your past

    We highlight the abuses

    And make the world stare

As we flush you down the sewers

    The lies will end there

    Lies have flashed forth!

    For the freedom we’re winning

From a world that is ending

To a brand new beginning, baby!

    Come on!

    Lies have flashed forth!

Don’t be afraid to expose them!

Don’t you ever lose hope and

Don’t you ever be broken, baby!

    Come on!

Wow! How long have you been working on this?

Actually, I wrote it in maybe an hour or so, maybe not even that long, Jamie. It just occurred to me that I wanted to write another rap about it and was like, hmm, taking the Kingdom Melody and turning it into a chorus worked pretty well before, so...why not do it again?

As for doing a video on it, well...I don't have a good camera. I'd have to hold the button in the whole time on my digital camera, and it's hard enough to get it right on camera without having to hold the camera too. I'm not even very, uh, street smart, so...it's kind of silly to think of me even remotely attempting rap, of all things. But then, I did it with Star Wars, years ago, so...why not?

I doubt I'd be a YouTube sensation, and if I were, just imagine what the missus would say! Anyway, I doubt I'd have time to even do it even if I had the camera...and even the camera I have now I don't have--oh, wait, I do have batteries. Excuses, excuses...

Well, it was nice. I don't think I have another one in me, and I'm not even sure if this one's that great...I hope it is.

I remember you said a while back that you wanted to write a rap song. The thought of you actually rapping it is pretty funny though. Most people don't know how well spoken you are. Hell, if you threw a couple of "F" words in there, I'd have a better chance of pulling it off, LOL!

Love ya, dear heart. Glad to see you have your creaive juices flowing!
