Can anyone provide links or information on this.

As JWs we passed along the Doritos and vinegar without imbibing.

I have been lead to belive this is a copy of the occult 'Mock/Rejaect the Christ ceremony.

    1. I have no evidence such a ceremony exists beyond being told. Thus I would like to see evidence.

    2. Would it not have been until Judge Boozerford decided to create two classes that the idea of passing the cutlery would have been devised?

    3. If Boozerford is responsible would he have been sober enough to copy a Mock/Reject ceremony? Doesn't his sounds more like a Charlie Rissole style occult practice?

I'm genuinely interested in this as I don't want to go around saying 'it is so' when it aint!

    It copies a satanic ritual.

Actually, no where in the bible does it say - do not partake!!!!

I like the idea of a special memorial on the day that Jesus partook with his apostles and that ALL that wish should partake, but I also agree that the "breaking of the bread" should be done anytime one feels the desire to.

Never know when it may be your last...

Jn 6:53 “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me. This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever.”

John was not JUST speaking of what would later be the "breaking of bread" the passover meal, but he was also speaking in a higer sense of taking in ALL the Jesus WAS, His body and blood ie: His Holy Spirit yes, but also all the Jesus embodied - Love, compassion, tenderness, etc, etc all of his teachings.

That passage is one of the great passage sof John, that has SO MANY, because it truly touches on what i t is to be a follower of Christ and that is to BE Christ, to have him IN US, to have the HS IN US and to have LOVE IN US.
