I am captive in both heart and body,
walled in by mahogany panels and
useless fears of too long standing.
Breaking free from confines I've grown
used to would take me from a place of
uneasy but accustomed safety.
Inadvertently, I throw a vacant glance at
the dirty pane, and my cursory look
becomes a fixed stare that moves through
Glass and focuses on her, the gracious one.
Music - a rhapsody - swells once again in my
heart as the silver moon and I make our vows.
