Here is a great list of questions that help identify if we have been affected by a cult....

As a general outline we use the following criteria that defines a cult or mind control situation:
Removes your freedom of choice

Separates you from the familiar

Alters your belief system

Disallows questions and criticism

Expects worship and obedience

Promises unattainable outcomes

The group is right everyone else is wrong

Overbearing friendship and love

Good questions that don't mention the WTS directly.
May work for a recent convert. but will not make a diff to any hardcore JW
