Bristol was a young girl that got pregnant--it happens. But then she comes out supporting abstinence only. She did a commercial where she was refusing to carry condoms "just in case". It made me mad, because she had become pregnant as a teen, and now was teaching other girls like her to not be prepared. She's setting THEM up to become pregnant--or much worse--sick. It's irresponsible on her part. I thought I'd see what others think.

When I was an Elder we had quite the sexually active Teen population in the Circuit. The joke was that the Teens had better sex lives than the married couples. Did the Society's Youth books ever deal with Birth Control, no.

I knew as a JW mother, I should teach my daughter the only option was to wait until marriage. However I was a teenage girl once too! So I taught my daughter to wait, BUT JUST IN CASE, I taught her about condoms. If she made a "mistake" I was into damage control. I didn't tell anyone in the cong about it. I live in the real world, and I wanted my daughter to have a good life.

LOL looking at my above post something occurs to me. "Daughter, don't have a child, it will DESTROY your life!!" LOL Oh well, I'm sure she didn't take it that way-----although she is now engaged and has told me she doesn't want children. Hmmmm

Levi Johnson does not pay child support nor visit his son. He is a proven liar. Bristol has celebrity and money from being knocked up. She proves that abstinence only does not work. Her mom was elected governor in Alaska. Bristol is just a knocked up teenager. Do you see poor Latino and African-American pregnant teenagers being the toast of the town. She is similalr to Kim Kardashian, famous for nothing.

Meghan McCain talked about the campaign trail with Sarah. She said they were always judging her and looking down on her because she wasn't the perfect little candidate's daughter. But in an interview she made an ironic point. She said that SHE wasn't the pregnant teen.

Crass materialism turns me off. Once upon a time, people like Nureyev and Barishnikov, Sinatra, the Beatles were celerbities.

All these people believed in materialism, too, but they had talent.

She looks so bad modelling. The only positive thing is that short and curvaveous women can feel entitled to a life. Let's see Kim do Chanel, Lagerfeld, McQueen.

She makes a good model for audacity. Paris Hilton was more attractive.
