Tiday's New York Times had the coolest article about how men are trained to blow the shofar. It is not easy. Do you know the architecture is designed to allow hard tones of the shofar to be heard? I think the article said there are 600+ synogagoues in Borough Park alone. When I was in school, I attended services to hear the shofar being blown. It was some experience. I always contrast it with Yom Kippur. What do you say about fasting and atonement? Did you have a good Yom Kippur?
