  I never really have experiences to share because I can't really talk to Jdubs the way I would like to, but I had one this morning that was funny.

  My mother has this habit of writing the scripture of the daily text on a piece of construction paper with a marker and hanging it on the Fridge.

  I assume it is her way of witnessing to me and whomever enters the home.

  So I saw it on the table this morning and the scripture was the one that harbors the term "mentally diseased."

  So I held it up and said so this is what I must be "mentally diseased."

  So she says, "thats what the scripture says."

  I said "you really believe that?"

  She just shrugged her shoulders as if to say "well yes, that is what I was told to believe."

  So I just laughed out loud.

  So, I wanted to post a title 2 minutes after I posted the original thread but it would not let me edit my own thread so I posted it on this one.

  I feel for you this poisonous use of scripture is disgusting and because witnesses do not think for themselves they just parrot the thoughts of the writing department.

  I would post little thoughts on the fridge too, appropriate quotes from JWfacts and Richard Dawkins would be a way to go.

  Or post scriptures that talk about not judging others, showing love to all, putting up with one another, etc.

  All good suggestions, unfortunately I have my own home and my parents have their own home.

  So as much as I would like to post on their fridge, I don't want them posting on mine.

  I probably needed to clarify that more in my initial post.
