i have vista pro or such...never had a prob with it and i use google chrome....right clicks dont work nor do the nice icons in the tool bar above as to me wanting to cut and paste

reload chrome . . . or soft boot and reload? Sounds like a system file not functioning if it's doing it with chrome

I have the same problem on my google chrome. I just hit "CTRL" and "C" to copy and "CTRL" and "V" to paste.

I have a laptop I use occasionally with vista . . . IE9 works fine on it in compatability mode. The only thing that doesn't work for me with chrome is the quote/styles function.

chrome works fine on XP pro . . . could be a vista - chrome compatibility problem . . . do you have any other browsers?
