Out of one Cult and into another Cult. No 'Rescue' there

Thanks a lot Koolaid for the link. What a wonderful story of what God can do.

I love how Joe Hewitt has managed to get rid of all his WT-induced anger and now seems to have real peace/joy.

Most of this interview covers the history and doctrines of the WT.

Does anyone know Hewitt's specific suggestions for getting JWs to question the WTS?

The only one he shared was asking, "Do you really believe Christ returned invisibly in 1914?" I'm sure by reflex any JW will say "yes" but I suppose the point is getting them to think about that question later.

The best book I've read for providing tons of thinking questions is Wilbur Lingel's "Approaching JWs in Love"... great resource.

I haven't seen that book. Could you give some examples of his questions?
