Well, when I was an active JW, on the Watchtower, I have read that the stupid Governing Body also said so as you said.
BTW, in Japan, Christmas is not a "holiday."
But, since my girlfriend is not a Japanese, probably "St Valentine's Day", her "birthday", and "Xmas" are important for her.possible
