    Just something I wrote. Not to good but I thought i'd share.

    Nothing in this life is everlasting.
    We all love and lose.
    But I’ve found in you the closest
    I’ll ever be, to loving eternally

    You’ve shown me how to love myself
    When no one ever cared
    For this I love you more

    Let me break these chains called fear
    They’ve held me captive far to long
    Let me be set free, free to love again
    The way it was meant to be

    I don't want someone in my life I can live with. I want someone in my life I can't live without.

    Lilacs,

    That's beautiful! And don't say it's not too good. Any time you share your heart it's been good. Have you ever read "Heartsongs" by Mattie Stepaneck? Although not a fan of Oprah, she had this lovely child on her show not to long ago. He was spectacular! If you get a chance you might want to look him up on Amazon or google and learn a bit about him. Amazing little guy!

    That was very beautiful. Isn't it amazing how a poem can capture so much emotion in so little words? Plus, it conveys so much more than regular prose in many instances.
