My family will meet tonight to talk about my mom's situation. For the past ten years i have been the one who is always there for her and my other 4 sisters and my grown up nieces and nephews (they all work) has been playing the "I dont have enough card" all these years. Last year we moved to my sister's house and 2 months ago i moved by myself. I have a business and is doing very good, but has just started, so i cant fully support ALL her needs as before. We have always talked about this but now is getting more serious, everybody in my family has a car and im the only one taking public transportation (in my country public transportation is awful) so, i think is fair enough everybody give something to support her instead of myself only.... at the same time i dont want to offend anyone. Something else, im adopted. I have always felt guilty and thankful about that.... mixed feelings toward my mom. :S Any ideas on how i can handle tonight?

Just be honest with them. Tell them that you need help, that you can't handle this alone. Everyone needs to pitch in. Be specific about what you need help with. Some people, like my mom, need to be assigned specific tasks to do or else nothing will get done. Good luck.
