Australia wins second winter gold
Alisa Camplin won Australia's second Winter Olympic gold medal and the second within the space of 48 hours in the women's aerial skiing at Salt Lake City.
The 27-year-old had never even won a World Cup event but showed she was in top form by finishing second in the qualifying.
She was in third place after the first round of the final but nailed her second jump, a triple twisting double somersault to take first place with 193.47 points.
Veronica Brenner of Canada was second and fellow Canadian Diedra Dionne was third.
The other Australian in the final Lydia Ierodiaconou was an impressive eighth with 169.38 points.
Evelyne Leu of Switzerland, who set a world record score of 203.16 points in the qualifying, crash landed both of her jumps and could finish only 11th.
